Energy Service Agreement (also known as PPA)

Essentially, a business buys the power generated, bypassing the responsibilities of owning, operating, and maintaining a solar system.

At its core, the agreement is an energy purchase contract. The solar system is a venture of Birdwood Business Finance, which shoulders the tasks of design, permit acquisition, funding, installation, and maintenance at your business premises, while you purchase energy at a fixed rate pre-agreed for the term of the agreement.

The agreements typically range between 10 to 25 years, offering a rate that’s significantly lower than the electricity market rate, guaranteeing at least a 25% reduction from your existing grid tariff.
